✔ Continuing Appreciative Inquiry Development (CAID) Hours Requirement. The specific number of continuing appreciative inquiry development (CAID) hours required depends on the certification awarded. These hours are categorized into two categories: Appreciative Inquiry Core Competencies and Comprehensive Growth. AI Certification renewal hours can be earned through various learning opportunities designed to enhance your overall knowledge base and benefit your clients. RENEWAL APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
✔ Documentation of Courses. List all courses you have participated in for professional development. For courses taken outside of CAI and its partner programs, additional documentation is required. This documentation should include the course name, the company that delivered the course, the objective of the course, the number of course hours, the syllabus, and any additional materials. CAI will assess these documents to verify that the content, training quality, and alignment with AI Core Competencies are satisfactory.
✔ Detailed Narrative. Provide a detailed narrative of your work in the field of Appreciative Inquiry, including new projects, case studies, or significant contributions.
✔ Application Fee. Pay the certification renewal fee, which covers the review process and continued access to CAI resources and benefits.
✔ Review Process. Your certification renewal application will be reviewed by a panel of seasoned Appreciative Inquiry practitioners. It is standard practice for the panel to engage you in a conversation about your work and ask questions to deepen their and your mutual understanding of and learning about AI. The practicum review is therefore a dialogical and interactive process designed to ensure high standards.

Please note that CAID hours cannot be applied to a certification you do not currently hold.
